Center of Perinatal Care (Pregnancy and Childbirth)
East-Tallinn Central Hospital Center of Perinatal Care assists women during their 9 months of pregnancy and offers a first look to the world for new citizens of Earth. Our Center provides you with all necessary from first weeks of pregnancy till post-partum counseling.
You will receive useful advice from experienced midwives and gynecologists during all stages of pregnancy at our Maternity Counseling unit; good tips and new information for expectant mothers is available at Family School and Breastfeeding Counseling.
All pregnant women will undergo some pregnancy-time tests, run by the Prenatal Department. All emergencies related to pregnancies are received at our 24-hour emergency room .
The Labor and Delivery Department is a first sight of the world for newborns. Additional services as individual birth support and post-birth family rooms are available as well.
The Department of Neonatology takes care of your baby in case there is a more complicated birth situation or premature birth. Our hospital hosts only Donor Breast Milk Bank exist in Estonia.
