The Influenza Has Claimed First Lives This Season

According to the Health Board the Influenza has claimed the first lives – two elderly people aged 79 and 81. Neither of them were vaccinated.

The general number of infected  has remained stable. 54 people have been hospitalized of which 20 people are elderly, 15 people aged 0-4 and 10 people aged 5-14, also 9 people aged 15-64.

Currently the most dominative is the Influenza B Virus lineages in Yamagata.

The people endagered the most are children aged under 5 years and elderly aged 65 and over, also people suffering from anemia, chronic lung, cardiac, kidney or metabolic diseases (diabetes);
