Record number of babies were born yesterday, 5th-6th of June, at East-Tallinn Central Hospital prenatal department. In total 25 babies were born - 15 of them boys and 10 girls, said Head of the Clinic dr. Lee Tammemäe. Last time when the birth rate was so high was in year 2006, when 24 children were born in one day.

In total we have had 1573 births in our hospital this year till now. In 2011 this rate was 1666 births.
