Hospice

Dignified life till death

The hospice unit provides family and loved ones who are about to lose a family member with attention and care.

Death is sad but inevitable and people and their loved ones do not always cope with it without assistance. Here in the hospice, we support anyone's right to die with dignity.

When a terminally ill person who is about to leave us feels the presence of their family and finds peace of mind, the whole family will find it easier to cope with their death.

Our staff follows the holistic approach, considering the patient's physical, psychological, social and existential needs equally important.

Our doctors, nurses, caregivers and a social worker have all been trained in hospice philosophy and offer, as a team, the following for patients and their loved ones:

  • Holistic care
  • Palliative care
  • Open and honest communication
  • Cooperation between specialists and the patient's loved ones
  • Contact and consistency
  • Grief counselling

The unit has 12 beds.
